Spreading Holiday Cheer: Our Christmas Donation Campaign

As the festive season draws near, Lexmerca is excited to share our latest endeavor: our Christmas donation campaign. We are collecting essential items for Roundabout Canberra, a local charity dedicated to providing essential baby and children’s items to families in need. This time, our main focus is collecting items for the holiday season. We are also extending a warm invitation for monetary donations from those who prefer to contribute in this way. With your support, our aim is to bring joy and comfort to those who need it most during this holiday season.

Roundabout Canberra: Illuminating Every Child’s Christmas

Roundabout Canberra is an exceptional local charity with an unwavering commitment to assisting families facing challenging circumstances. Their guiding principle is crystal clear: “Every child deserves a safe start and every family deserves dignity.” They work tirelessly to ensure that children have access to essential items, regardless of their family’s financial situation. This Christmas, we’ve joined hands with them to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families.

How You Can Make a Difference

There are several ways for you to join us in spreading joy and making a positive impact:

Donate Goods: You are welcome to donate any essential baby and children’s item as long as they are brand new or second-hand goods in excellent quality. Currently, the most needed item is single-bed linen items, but we believe all following items will be essential during this holiday season for the kids to enjoy.

• Single bed linen (such as new pillows and washable duvets)
• Gifts for ages 10 to 16 years (like toys, gift cards, craft supplies, sports equipment, board games, and LEGO)
• Children’s books
• Hair accessories
• Wipes
• New toiletries for babies/children/adults
• Children’s socks and underwear up to size 16
• Kids’ summer caps and hats
• Lunch boxes
• Drink bottles
• School-age backpacks for ages 5 and up
• Diapers

Your contributions will light up a child’s Christmas. Donations can be dropped off at our office during business hours. Unwrapped gifts are preferred to allow families to participate in the joy of wrapping. We kindly request that all physical gifts be delivered to our office by 13th December 2023 to ensure timely distribution.

Your support will directly benefit Roundabout Canberra and help provide essential items to families in need. Every donation, regardless of the amount, can make a significant impact.

In addition to our donation campaign, Lexmerca is proud to announce that our team will be actively volunteering at Roundabout Canberra on the 27th of November 2023. We are committed to taking a holistic approach to giving, and this hands-on involvement further exemplifies our dedication to making a positive impact in our community.

We are driven by our past successes, such as raising over $6,000.00 for Roundabout Canberra during the City2Surf 2023 fundraising campaign and raising over $14,000.00 for Rise Above – Capital Region Cancer Relief as a part of City2Surf 2022. Inspired by our previous achievements, we are more motivated than ever to create a lasting impact this Christmas with Roundabout Canberra. With your incredible support and the collective effort of our clients, friends, and the community, we aim to improve the lives of families in need and provide them with essential support during this festive season.
