Biography
Scott is quite fresh-faced to Canberra, moving up from Melbourne to join the litigation team at Lexmerca Lawyers at the tail end of 2022. He has shown a keen willingness to learn from many of the talented lawyers at Lexmerca and has hit the ground running with his ability to assist in the handling of many complex matters in such a brief amount of time.
Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University in 2020, and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Leo Cussen Centre for Law. He was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2020.
Prior to joining Lexmerca, Scott worked at a boutique law firm in Melbourne where he gained a wealth of experience in many different areas of law, such as, commercial, property, criminal and family law. As well as having experience working as a banking and financial consultant in Sydney. Scott applies his knowledge from these areas to his work as a lawyer, offering clients holistic and well-rounded advice to meet the clients’ needs and ensure that they are satisfied with the result.
He prides himself on being a dedicated and passionate advocate for his clients, by providing a careful balance of high attention to detail with an empathetic and friendly approach. He constantly strives to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients at all times.
Scott looks forward to continuing to establish himself as an integral member of the litigation team, and developing his expertise in commercial litigation.
