Biography
Lara is a talented commercial lawyer, with more than five years’ experience practicing commercial and insurance law. Prior to graduating, Lara worked for many years as a Legal Assistant, positioning her well for her current career, which has seen her appear in the Magistrates and Supreme Court for various matters.
Lara joined Lexmerca Lawyers in 2014, practicing property and commercial law. At the time, her focus was predominantly on residential conveyancing, commercial leasing, debt recovery and estate planning.
Since joining the team, Lara has found her passion for property and development matters. She takes great pride in assisting builders, developers, families and first-home buyers with their residential conveyancing needs.
Displaying her talents and passion for her work, in 2018 Lara was appointed as head of the Property and Development Team, working on matters including: unit developments, Put and Call Option Deeds, Crown Lease building and development covenants, building contracts, First Grant contracts and land rent contracts.
