Biography
Heyma joined Lexmerca Lawyers in early 2026 and supports the Litigation team as a Paralegal while she completes a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at The Australian National University. Heyma has developed a strong interest in matters involving complex commercial legal disputes, particularly those relating to insolvency, consumer law issues, commercial torts and shareholder disputes.
Working closely with Matt Peach, Partner, and the wider litigation team, Heyma assists solicitors with legal research, drafting documents, briefing counsel, managing files, trial and mediation preparation, preparing legal articles, communicating with clients and conducting day-to-day administrative tasks.
Heyma is passionate about providing thorough and accurate support to the Litigation team and contributing to effective outcomes for clients.
