Biography
Elysia is a highly accomplished lawyer with more than 9 years’ experience in employment and commercial law. Elysia commenced her career working at a leading national law firm alongside Lexmerca Lawyers’ founding partner, Jason Wenning, who was so impressed by her dedication and quality of work that he recruited her to the Lexmerca team in 2015.
Elysia’s immense passion and talent for helping clients in all facets of the employment relationship has cemented her position as the firm’s leading employment law specialist. She has a proven track record in providing quality advice and representation on a wide range of complex legal issues, including: negotiating the terms of employment contracts and settlements; navigating unfair dismissal claims and payment disputes; and providing advice on restraints of trade, redundancy, and workplace change.
In addition to specialising in employment law, Elysia has considerable expertise in commercial property transactions and is experienced in providing quality and prompt legal advice to businesses, property developers, builders, financial institutions, and commercial landlords and tenants. Her particular areas of expertise include: commercial property transactions; sale and purchase of business transactions; and commercial, industrial, and retail leasing.
